I work with multimedia collages, installations, curation and moving images to explore communication and belonging. It is informed by, and examines, disability, being deaf, neurodiversity and from this the idea of total communication. Understanding that communication is multidimensional and individual - gesture, sound, movement and so on.
My work has a strong sense of space. Space as remembered, felt and seen, and as containers or opportunities. I seek to create an experiential space that highlights total communication to create new means and dreams for understanding and connection. There are two interlinked strands to my practice: my work & collaborative work
